If you are a return visitor, I hope you are liking the layout changes I recently did. I do plan on creating some better graphics, but I don’t have the best editing programs and my image creation skills are a bit rusty, so bear with me. I promise in a few months time the blog will be beautiful, until then you’re just going to have to settle for “pretty on the inside”. That’s what counts right?
Well here we are again at the Saturday budget update. And this week I have much better news to report :
So, I pretty much accidentally had a no spend week ! I also worked everyday, so hopefully my bank account gets nice and padded for when I have job insecurity from January until March.
On Thursday, a friend from work had his last shift, so we all went out for drinks afterward. I had 2, apparently expensive beverages.
I’ve thought about it a lot, and I am literally just going to try to get any job possible for those 3 months. Serving, retail, any place that will have me. I just really do not want to see my savings go down, when instead I could throw a few thousand at my loans if I get another temporary job.
I am not sure if everyone has a long weekend or just Canada, but I am very much looking forward to a great friend’s birthday party (it’s Mexican themed, I can hear the margaritas and guacamole calling me!) and some relaxation time.
